Youth Attack; The Closing

Everything that begins, will come to an end. So does our event. Goodbyes was never easy. the closing ceremony were supposedly held at the square were postponed to the same spot where we carried out the go green!

The teachers, staff and students were really supportive and appreciative of us. I was glad that they never seen us as a nuisance, weekend interruptor. The school even prepare us certificates and mugs. In the closing ceremony, we students already prepared the prizes, which at first only for the winner, but then why not for everyone? They all prove themselves to be worthy of it, even more!

During the certificates handout, some of the kids even cheered our name (which makes us feel flowery and touched). Or one last time, each group performed their cheers, the group and the Youth Attack Slogan. And This time, they did really well at it. You can see the spirit, the vibes. What a results.

After everything, we had photograph sessions. the big photograph and group photograph. every pic want to take one with their respective group. (Even some of them messaged me personally for the photos to upload on instagram)

It really, really put a one big smile on my face. a teary smile as we parted goodbye. kind of bittersweet.

I indeed became a fond of the kids my group (Hulk) They were fun to work with. Exhausting? indeed. But never worthless. I hope my time with them, appreciated in the same way. I hope they got the useful output, make something out of it, and of course i wished them happiness and success for SPM, even for the rest of their life. Anyway we still keep in touch thru Instagram, as the kids asked for mine.

It was a sigh a relieve to finally getting away from the time consuming activities. We as a group learnt a lot, debate within each other to prove a point, getting things eye-to-eye wasn't easy. But we did it. And I'm glad we finally come to one unanimous voice during the whole journey.
