The First Meeting

15 December 2018, our first day of meeting each other- the member of social engagement group 13. I noticed that not all was here. Maybe they've another thing going on?
As usual, we break up the ice. Getting to know each others- although we're from the same course, But yeah, some familiar faces to me, however the rest? I've never seen them around. without wasting our time, we then proceed with the real deal. distributing the workload and brainstorm what we gonna do for our social engagement.
No one want to volunteer at first. But then, real leader is the one who navigate the cruise, not waiting around.
Syafiq as the leader and Jia Jie as our secretary. it was unanimous. And the rest is history
we discussed for hours. Charity at orphanage, visiting old folks home, and servicing the refugees. However, we all agreed that orphanage is the best option for now- among all others.
As the cruise is set to sail, each were set with specific task. from finding the nearest orphanage, to preparing the necessary documents. So with task in our hand, we postpone our meeting to another day.
It was a blast to forge a new bond, marking the beginning of an experience that will be part of our grades, and maybe piece of our memories.
